Reflection of a yogi

Where am I standing since the outbreak has began?

What page am I on right now?

Am I getting to know more about myself?

The answer is yes. Hopefully many of us are discovering that we are becoming more patient, getting stronger and learning to be happy with simple things we may not have noticed before.

Yogis are practising more than ever, as I am witnessing online classes filling up quicker.

Inevitably as we become more health conscious, some of our earlier priorities become secondary i.e. less important if not meaningless. After all, our health is the most important factor to happiness.

Being an introvert by nature I wonder whether the current lockdown is easier for people like me. Or is it not? How do extroverts feel?

I guess only you can answer this question based on your own experience. Whether one or the other, we must stay positive in these times.

As we start week four of the lockdown I ask myself these questions:

- Is COVID19 still my daily mantra?

- Have a managed to cut down on news?

- Is my daily structure working?

- When was the last time I touch based with my loved ones?

- What is important and what is not?

Writing this I would like to quote Henry Thoreau:

‘That man is rich whose pleasures are cheapest’.

To conclude this blog I wish you happy and healthy life.

Stay safe,

Hakan
